Most upload problems come from an unreadable file, missing result column, mixed values, or incorrect column selection.

Check the file#

  1. Read the full error message.
  2. Confirm the file type shown on the upload screen.
  3. Open the file outside Quantprove.
  4. Check that it contains completed trade rows.
  5. Keep a copy of the original export before editing it.

Check the data#

  1. Find the numeric result for each completed trade.
  2. Use one unit in that column.
  3. Remove totals, headings, and notes from trade rows.
  4. Give each useful column a clear, unique name.
  5. Check that dates and decimals use a consistent format.

Check the mapping#

Upload again and select the correct result and date columns. Confirm that wins are positive, losses are negative, and the preview count matches the source.

Trades are missing#

Look for blank result cells, open positions, source filters, summary rows, and duplicates. Journal import adds new trades and leaves detected duplicates out.
