Upload a trade file when Broker Sync is unavailable or you already have an export from your broker, platform, or journal.
Prepare the file#
Keep the original export unchanged. Your file needs a numeric result for each completed trade. Use one result unit consistently, such as account currency, points, or R-multiples.
Choose the destination#
Use Backtest for historical or simulated trades that establish an expectation. Use the Journal for live trades you want to organize and review.
Upload the file#
- Open the Quantprove workflow that should receive the trades.
- Select the upload action.
- Drop the file or browse for it.
- Review the columns Quantprove detected.
- Select the trade-result column when Quantprove asks.
- Check the signs, unit, dates, and expected row count.
- Continue only when the preview matches the source.
Check the result#
Confirm that wins are positive, losses are negative, dates use the intended order, and fees have not changed the result unexpectedly.
For a Journal import, Quantprove adds new trades and leaves detected duplicates out. You can undo a completed import from its success screen.
The upload failed#
Open Fix a failed upload for file, column, value, and preview checks.
